Vice President, Business Services

Shawn Ballard serves as Vice President of Business Services, overseeing feed mill operations, logistics, supply chain, agronomy and environmental compliance. Shawn is a member of the Executive Committee and reports to the COO, Greg Howard.

As the leader of the group that provides a variety of internal services to other Christensen Farm’s business functions, Shawn believes it is crucial for his team to have an outwardly focused service orientation, a collaborative approach and a relentless pursuit of improvement in order to enable the success of all of our business partners across the broader Christensen Farms organization.

Shawn joined Christensen Farms in 2019 with 20 years of business and general management experience across a wide variety of organizations. Originally trained in accounting and finance, Shawn has spent the last 15 years of his career in the CPG food manufacturing industry working in a variety of roles across finance, operations, supply chain, sales, and marketing, as well as multiple business unit leadership roles. Prior to joining Christensen Farms, he served as the General Manager of the Pickles Business Unit for Treehouse Foods, Inc., a leading private label food manufacturer.

Shawn holds his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Arizona and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.
