SLEEPY EYE, MN – April 13, 2015 — Christensen Farms and Feedlots, Inc. announced today that Valarie (“Val”) Johnson has been named Vice President of Human Resources, Communications and Public Affairs.

“Val brings more than 20 years of experience in leading human resources and other business teams to Christensen Farms,” said Glenn L. Stolt, Chief Executive Officer.  “She comes to Christensen Farms with a comprehensive, strategic view of human resources and an incredible grasp on the importance of the human resources function within a company such as Christensen Farms.”

Prior to joining Christensen Farms, Ms. Johnson spent time in senior human resources leadership roles in the retail apparel sector most notably with Sears and Ascena. Prior to that, Val spent a number of years with Best Buy in multiple human resource roles.
